Schwarzenegger, Brown, Pro-LGBT groups oppose a stay of opinion

The Governor has reiterated that he would uphold the decision and even said that the marriages would benefit the state financially.

Attorney General Jerry Brown likewise opposes a delay.

Equality California, National Center for Lesbian Rights, ACLU and Our Family Coalition have also called for the Court’s decision to go into effect on schedule.

Yeah, enough shuffling about, already. The court was clear and forceful in its decision and should follow through with it in a timely manner.
