That’s right, you heard it here first. Vice-President Dick Cheney’s out daughter, Mary Cheney gave 3K to NO on 8 – Equality California in July.
Cheney and her long-term partner, Heather Poe, have a one-year old daughter, and this gift will go toward a secure future for all families.
She joins other prominent donors, such as LA Police Chief William Bratton, actor Isaiah Washington, and tennis star Martina Navratilova in stepping up to the challenge and saying everyone deserves the freedom to marry.
