Act On Principles offers new tools for netroots action

In mid-May of this year, a group of activists, community leaders and donors gathered in Dallas, TX to address the need for full lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. The summit established eight underlying tenets to achieve full civil rights now. In early June, Equality California’s Executive Director Geoff Kors became the first leader to publicly endorse the Dallas Principles.

The group behind the Dallas Principles have just launched a Web site, ActOnPrinciples.com to help turn those principles into full equality.

Act On Principles gives users the ability to track LGBT legislation through both houses of Congress, including tracking each bill’s current whip count, and has tools for contacting elected officials in support of LGBT issues.

Members can create action alerts to promote important actions people can take to make a difference. They can also blog to share important information and effective strategies with everyone.

Register with Act On Principles today and keep the fight for full equality going!
